I told you this blog was going to include a little bit of EVERYTHING. So let’s talk about recipes!
Where are my air fryer lovers at?
Look, I am all for cooking a homemade dinner and spending time trying new recipes and experimenting but… sometimes you really just need something QUICK. Hence why an air fryer can come in clutch on those nights when you are feeling lazy, but still want something healthy.
Here is a link to the one I use.
My go to airfryer recipe is simple + perfect for my salmon lovers. Like seriously YOU CANNOT MESS THIS ONE UP. It’s also a real crowd pleaser… My sister legitimately asks me to make this for her every time she comes into town.
The magic ingredient:
Trader Joe’s Italian Style Soffritto Seasoning Blend. I am truly not sure why this pairs so well with salmon or why on earth I decided to one day use it on my fish… but just trust me. It works.
*If you don’t have access to a TJ’s… I am so sorry & I will mail you some. But you can still use this recipe with your own spices!*
Here’s how to:
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Rub each filet with olive oil and season with your TJ’s Soffritto seasoning (both sides). I like to really rub the salmon with this so all the yummy, chunky pieces stay on when you place it in the basket.
- Place the salmon in the air fryer and air fry for 7-9 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
- Open basket and check for desired doneness with a fork. You can return the salmon for another 1 or 2 minutes as necessary!
And then, TADA! 10 minutes later and you have the perfect salmon. I like to pair it with a carb (rice or sweet potato) and sauteed broccoli, asparagus or kale with chopped garlic. An easy, clean eatin’ meal that doesn’t taste like cardboard… we LOVE it! #teamairfryer
